Hola, y Buenos días. My name is Jose Maria, but you can call me Chema. I'm from Monterrey, Mexico, and I welcome you to my project page; feel free to take a look around, and I hope you enjoy all the funky and crazy things I'm up to at this school.
This is the film made by Krazy Kangaroos which is part of the I See You module where we investigated aboriginal people, their culture, traditions, and ways of living in Australia.
This is a mix media film, this means that this video is not only with "real people" to make this easy to explain, in our case this film has short clips of animation which I created. For this I used a Wacom drawing pad and Photoshop to draw on top of the video and make animations unpredictable in other words so you don't know when you will see them.
A lego photography project
In this project I dug really deep into one of my biggest passions, Lego. During Canada term I had the chance to learn the basics of photography and how I can use certain. techniques to create beautiful pieces of art using my lego minifugures.
check out my process portfolio to discover the long journey of this project and all the shenanigans my lego minifigures got into:
A shoe design project
In this project I designed something unique. Taking inspiration from ancient Rome and their legions of soldiers I created a pair of shoes that I like to call the Kickus Maximus. Using symbolism such as wings, arrowheads, lighting bolts, and vine halos I gave it all to draw and original and creative design that makes people think about if they should re-create the Roman Empire. I encourage you to take a look at my process portfolio so you can see all the steps that lead to the creation of the Roman legion's drip.
This is my Mastery project, where I'm learning about different types of renewable energy and their applications in modern vehicles such as cars and trains. I'm also learning about 3D printing and its applications in the creation of prototypes.
